Supplemental Instructor

WSU Vancouver is looking to hire 5-8 Supplemental Instructors for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024.

A Supplemental Instructor is a student leader that provides regularly scheduled, weekly review sessions that helps students navigate historically difficult courses by providing students with additional exposure to, and practice with, course material in a group setting. We have lots of evidence that these peer-led sessions help students keep up their grades and help reduce drop rates for these difficult courses.
The courses we are seeking to provide services for are Chemistry105, Chemistry 345, History 105, Physics 101, Physics 201, Computer Science 121, and Biology 106. If you successfully completed any of these courses with an A or A- , this could be a great student job for you!
