Sales Development Representative

SEATTLE, WASALES – SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVESFULL-TIME
The Role

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for their Account Executive counterparts. This role manages the outbound campaigns of their sales pod, qualifying active buying interest, and identifying critical decision makers. The SDR will need to be able to articulate the Outreach value proposition. We are currently looking for new team members on both the Seattle and Tampa teams!

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Making 75+ outbound phone calls each day
  • Discovering new leads through internet research and social media monitoring/messaging, using tools such as LinkedIn Navigator
  • Supporting Outreach’s marketing efforts by assisting in online and other marketing campaigns
  • Managing prospecting status, data integrity, and forecasting in Salesforce.com
  • Achieving, and exceeding, weekly/monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, etc.)
  • Responding to inbound customer interest and developing these accounts to create opportunities
  • Being prepared for and contributing to strategic weekly account and trial status meetings

Basic Qualifications

  • You have the ability to think on your feet in a conversation and answer unexpected questions with ease
  • You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, high energy environment
  • You have a go-getter attitude! “No” doesn't stop you - it only makes you think of other ways to go for the “Yes”
  • You have a strong passion for sales and sales processes
  • You are good at finding ways to motivate yourself and your teammates. Camaraderie and Team Spirit is the name of the game around here
  • You are highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • You feel confident using programs like SalesForce and LinkedIn. If you haven’t used them, that’s ok! You have had to learn new programs before and have a knack for picking them up quickly
